i don't know how absolutely dorky this sounds...but i think i have a blog crush* - and it's on this blog, for sure. thank you seesaw, i'm crushing.

if i had a green thumb...

ok, you have to admit - the greenery on the rooftop of this boston home is amazing. the husband and i have finally come to a decision that we will be moving to salt lake again. we're not looking forward to the hustle and bustle we've become so unfamiliar with out on the farm.

but, it will be a new and wonderful adventure. plus, with more inspiration from apartment therapy i think the home we get into will end up being a sweet expression of who we are.

if there's beautiful greenery like this, we should be good.

another amazing find. miss ann marie over at i am an age old tree. i admire her photography, its unique-ness and also the fact that much of it is from an old-film camera. totally admire the naturalness of her work.

there's nothing artsy about this post, fyi - formatting, no bueno. but the pieces? i love them.

i absolutely love the textures of these pillows, plus they'd look great on that couch. plush crush.

how is it that i've become obsessed with pillows? maybe it's the fact that they can turn anything ordinary into a masterful piece of art. hmm....brown leather couch with wonderful pillows? yes, please.

i want to wrap myself tightly in this blanket.....it looks so cozy and snuggly. plus, i love the detail along the edge. lace trim? really, with wool? fabulous.

so, i don't know how much i totally love this. probably due to the tacky play boy tie. but none-the-less it's a pretty shnazzy idea.

started like this [above] sanded, and then painted with turquoise and dry brushed with a paint thinning glaze. [below]
